Sorry everybody for very bad updating but the website and my situation for 2013 will take new ground soon.

I promisse it will be a nice surprise!

Tour de Qinghai Lake

This race was one of the biggest experiences in my career so far and then I mean in in all the ways that don´t are about the physician part. Food, culture, high alltitude, jetlag and about 2000km of cycling in 14 days wasn´t at all what things normally is but my life got richer in so many ways.

No super results but at this time I have full focus on Tour of Denmark!

Back on track

No more sickness and I am back on track! So far I have had a tough time but will do what I can the coming stages. Yesterday on the 6th stage I felt good again and could do a ok stage, especially after being in 160km breakaway the day before just to start up the engine again.

So now full gas on todays crtierium before rest day tomorrow!

Stomach sickness...

When I woke up before the third stage I had fever and during the stage also huge problems with my stomach. After throughing up and feeling totally past out I managed to come home with the "grupetto". A long night was waiting and the organization doctor helped me in the ways that was possible.

Starting the fourth stage was not the best day of my life... crams and weakness was a fact but actually I started to feel better in the last part and hopefully things is going in the right direction again.

I want to make a good stage result over here and come home with a great smile upon my face, the culture over here is unique with big letters but I also want the physical part. This is no vacation like people thinks sometimes when they here about me traveling around the world.

Welcome to paintown

Since Twitter is forbidden in China I show of some pictures from the first two days here in Xining.

Yestardays first city grand prix was easy riding and good for the aclimatisation of the thin air. I finished in the peleton a little afraid of how my body would react.

The second stage was definitly harder with a HC climb only 20km from the finish and I could harmly take my pulsing body over that in the first group. PHHUUU!

One thing is for sure, the altitude is a trigger for the heartrate!

Next stop China!

Yesterdays Swedish Championships was done over 180km and after great teamwork we managed to take 2:nd place with Lars Andersson. But unfortunately there is no yellow/blue champion jersey for that place.
I was 11:th and Lucas Persson 4:th after a great respectful solo ride in the end.

So all the three Concordia riders in the race was top 11:th.

Tomorrow I head to China for riding Tour de Quinghai Lake which is a 14 days long stagerace on an alltitude of 3500-4000 m over the sea. I look forward to se how my body will react when I push it to the limit in this conditions.

The race starts 29/6 so hold your thumbs for me!

Sponsor event with my Skoda

Here is some photos from Thursdays VIP evening for Skoda customers at Bilkompaniet Kalmar
My car was in great focus right in front of the entrance!
The customers were very interested in my way to be a cyclist and they also had the oportunity to take my racebike in their own hands
A great evening well organized and also an Italian bufé to still my hunger

Fleche du Sud in the colours of Sweden

16-20 May Fleche du Sud in Luxemburg is in focus and this time with the Swedish National Team.

Yestardays first stage was hard as hell even if it wasn't longer than 80km. Six times climbing up 4min with around 465watt in avarage made the field split up several times.

15:th place on the stage and today they talk about a sprint, but we will se about that.

A new sight!

My Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo is now in company with the best builders around, Hansa Bygg!

I have waited so long

Now it is here!

The SRM has been my most important tool for evaluate my condition over the last years. This time I will try the SRAM version wich will fit my bike perfect.

No more crying

I had a good time in France with the Team even if the results didn´t showed up as we hoped for. After the first stage we got the point jersey with my teammate Nikola Aistrup which was part of the 15 man big breakaway that crossed the finish line ahead of the peleton. So the general classification that I personally hoped for was gone already after the first day so the coming stages was about defending the jersey and winning stages!

The second last stage we had the worse day you can imagine... Three big crashes in the first 30km followed by a 4 degrees cold thunderstorm with rain and snow. Unfortunately our service car with all our rain clothes was also crashed and wasn´t even able going to the finish. I managed to take my frozen body to the final laps on the stage but I almost fell of the bike with 35km to go and just had to cancel the race, danm it was a though decision!

That was it and I am looking forward to the coming races instead

23/4 Post Cup Denmark
29/4 1.2 Himmerland Rundt Denmark

First race for 2012, check!

Yesterdays race in Danish Grenå wasn´t the biggest one and was done as a good training for the team. But with a teamspirit that could switch off a lighthouse we cracked it all the way with the places 1-5.

Yihaaa!

Next race is on Sunday before takeoff to France and Loir et Cher!

The one who waits for something good...

In one week I go down to Denmark for a training camp followed by two Danish races, then down to France for doing 2.2 Loir et Cher wich I look forward to. After this the season is in full spin and time to show some results for 2012!

Today I had up to 18 degrees while training and the Swedish spring is putting a smile upon my face.
