16-20 May Fleche du Sud in Luxemburg is in focus and this time with the Swedish National Team.
Yestardays first stage was hard as hell even if it wasn't longer than 80km. Six times climbing up 4min with around 465watt in avarage made the field split up several times.
15:th place on the stage and today they talk about a sprint, but we will se about that.

The SRM has been my most important tool for evaluate my condition over the last years. This time I will try the SRAM version wich will fit my bike perfect.
I had a good time in France with the Team even if the results didn´t showed up as we hoped for. After the first stage we got the point jersey with my teammate Nikola Aistrup which was part of the 15 man big breakaway that crossed the finish line ahead of the peleton. So the general classification that I personally hoped for was gone already after the first day so the coming stages was about defending the jersey and winning stages!
The second last stage we had the worse day you can imagine... Three big crashes in the first 30km followed by a 4 degrees cold thunderstorm with rain and snow. Unfortunately our service car with all our rain clothes was also crashed and wasn´t even able going to the finish. I managed to take my frozen body to the final laps on the stage but I almost fell of the bike with 35km to go and just had to cancel the race, danm it was a though decision!
That was it and I am looking forward to the coming races instead

Yesterdays race in Danish Grenå wasn´t the biggest one and was done as a good training for the team. But with a teamspirit that could switch off a lighthouse we cracked it all the way with the places 1-5.

Next race is on Sunday before takeoff to France and Loir et Cher!
In one week I go down to Denmark for a training camp followed by two Danish races, then down to France for doing 2.2 Loir et Cher wich I look forward to. After this the season is in full spin and time to show some results for 2012!
Today I had up to 18 degrees while training and the Swedish spring is putting a smile upon my face.

Proffscyklist tecknar samarbetsavtal med bilföretag
Kalmarbaserade cyklisten Sebastian Balck, som kontrakterats av Danska Team Concordia, fortsätter sin offensiva satsning mot elitframgångar. I veckan undertecknades ett samarbetsavtal mellan Skoda som representeras av Bilkompani Kalmar och Sebastian.
-Skoda är sedan tidigare engagerade i cykelsporten och vi tycker att de aktiva är en viktig målgrupp för oss att nå. Men framför allt är vi glada att en framgångsrik, positiv och ambitiös elitidrottsman väljer att köra en Skoda, förklarar Karolina Sörman, försäljningschef på Bilkompani Kalmar.
-Vi vill gärna stötta lokala idrottsprofiler som vi känner ger det lilla extra för sin sport och samtidigt är ödmjuka och bra förebilder.
För Sebastian var behovet av en samarbetspartner viktigt för en fortsatt satsning på sin sport.
-Jag har satt upp ett tydligt mål och vill verkligen nå framgång med hjälp av kunskap och erfarenhet. Det krävs starka och seriösa partners för att jag ska kunna fokusera fullt på min karriär, förklarar han, just hemkommen efter ett av flera träningsläger, denna gång Mallorca.
Sebastians kompetens inom elitidrott delar han även med andra genom sitt Coachningsprogram och han riktar sig till den medvetna och ambitiösa kunden. Inför Kalmars satsning på Ironman har han adepter som vill komma i toppform för att klara av den tuffa utmaningen på bästa sätt. Men för Sebastian blir det inget Ironman.
-Nej jag fokuserar på cykelsporten, säger han och ser fram emot tävlandet som professionell världen över, men nämner även hemmaplan som en ljusglimt under säsongen.
-Kalmar Grand Prix kommer bli ett kanonevent även 2012 och jag vill visa Sveriges Elit att Larmtorget är min mark!
Bilkompani Kalmar stöttar i liknande samarbete sedan tidigare tiokamparen Nicklas Wiberg, Färjestaden och landslagsryttare Linda Heed.
Sebastian Balck kommer att motta sin bil, en helt ny Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Edition, onsdag den 14 mars kl 14 på Bilkompani Kalmar, Södra Vägen 72.

The cycling has been good even if the trainingcamps first part was calm with a sore throught and a cold, but with my four athlete clients I went out of it with a smile. Wonderful conditions and it´s not the last time for me here.
Four days with easy cycling, a sore throught and four marvelous lads... I have had a great time the first part of this trainingcamp even if I almost havn´t train anything because of a sore through. Anyway the coming week I will be here by my self and will find focus on the training again and full recovery!
I have heard the spring is on it´s way home in Sweden
My Trek bikes will be the nearest weapon for 2012 season except my own body, that´s for sure! I will try my new Madone for the first time the coming days but something ealse than a new bike is also on the carpet.
I travel down to Kastrup right now and tomorrow further on to Mallorca where I will stay with some of my coaching clients in one of their big house. So I´m afraid I won´t be able to do one single sin or sidestep in the training as some kind of "rule model"... crap

I will be there in Mars and the race is from 23 Mars to 1 April. This will definitly be a different start from my past seasons.
Right now I fight with two numbered minus degrees home in Kalmar but will go to Mallorca in a couple of weeks for good training.
Today is tha last day here, tomorrow I head home for a day and then further on to Denamark.

I am on the Canary Islands for 10 days of training with my teammate Lucas Persson. The last years I have been here the sun has showed it self a little bit more but hearing how the wether is at home make my days here on the bike to a pure paradise.
On Monday I travel further on to the official Team Presentation for 2012 in Danish Aars.
The last weeks my life has been hectic like never before with creating a new home and at the same time keep up with my training. All winters and "off seasons" in my future has been going too slow but this on is ticking away like a bomb.
My writhing hasn´t been the best but that´s just how life is some times and I try not to feel bad about it.
Hang on, everything has it´s time!
Now the day before Christmas I am home from the first serious meeting with my Team Concordia for 2012. Things went out better than I hoped for and I can assure that next year will bring new challanges and a new chapter in my cycling.
The few hours of training in five days was done but the focus was on each other as persons and do what december is all about, everything ealse than cycling.
